Beauty is a HUGE industry which I feel in love with back in college when I was studying to be a medical doctor.
I loved the industry, but definitely found it frustrating that so many products were full of chemicals while learning about how these can affect hormones, cause premature aging and more.
Then as I was finishing my medical internship, my mom got skin cancer for the second time. I learned from her doctors that this was partially attributed to harsh ingredients in beauty products, and I’d had enough!
I needed to change this industry!
I buried myself in skincare books and thoroughly researched all kinds of beauty products – everything from the packaging they came in, to the molecular composition of each and every ingredient in beauty products.
This resulted in the creation of my own skincare line: Schique and releasing my book, How to Get Clear Skin – a #1 International Best Seller on Skincare.
I also spoke on beauty and health through live speaking engagements, podcasts, articles and TV – such as Insider, Entrepreneur, TVSN and more.
But I knew this wasn’t enough. Beauty is a multi-billion dollar industry and brands become popular because of the name attached to them, while healthy brands that are just as effective or even more, stay under the radar.
That’s why I created The How to Get Clear Skin Club, to provide education that helps with common skin concerns specific to you! Everything from diet, skincare routine, makeup and more all backed by science.
I believe in compliments not chemicals, and look forward to helping you unleash your most beautiful self!
P.S. My mom is healthy and cancer free now <3
